My programmer is trying to convince me to move to
.net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress
on a number of websites for about a year and am concerned about
switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it?

I believe what you said made a bunch of sense. But, think about this,
what if you composed a catchier post title?
I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added
a title that makes people want more? I mean 2013-04-01--16.01.08--0198 is a little boring.
You could look at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article headlines to get
people interested. You might add a related video
or a related pic or two to get people excited about everything've written.
In my opinion, it could bring your posts
a little bit more interesting.
